A Literature review on the effects of Acupunture and Moxibustion treatment for Radial Nerve Plalsy

Abstract
A literature review was done for identifying the effects of Acupunture and Moxibustion treatment for Radial Nerve Palsy. The major results of the study were as follows.
1. The frequency of meridians of Acupunture and Moxibustion treatment for Radial Nerve Palsy were in order Shouyangming dachangjing xue(Large Intestine Meridian), Shoushaoyang Sanjiaojing xue(Triple Energizer Meridian), Shoutaiyin Feijing xue(Lung Meridian), Shoutaiyang Xiaochangjing xue(Small Intestine Meridian), Zutaiyang Pangguangjing xue(Bladder Meridian). non-meridian points, Shoujueyin Xinbaojing xue(Pericardium Meridian).Zushaoyang Danjing xue(Gallbladder Meridian), etc.
2. There were 61 points in all that were 56 meridian points among fourteen main meridians and 5 non-meridian points of Acupunture and Moxibustion treatment for Radial Nerve Palsy. The major available points in order of frequency of Acupunture and Moxibustion treatment for Radial Nerve Palsy were Quchi(LI_¡Û), Shousanli(LI_¡Û), Hegu(LI_¡Û), Jianvu(LI_¡Û), Waiguan(TE_¡Û), Yangxi(LI_¡Û), Binao (LI_¡Û), Kongzui(L_¡Û). Yangchi(TE_¡Û). Jianjing(G¡Û), etc.
According to the above results, it was considered that Acupunture and Moxibustion treatment for Radial Nerve Palsy might be beneficial by the use of the meridians and meridian points of Shouyangming dachangjing xue(LI), Shoushaoyang Sanjiaojing xue(TE), Shoutaiyin Feijing xue(L) etc which are related to the Radial Nerve near the site of injury.
